Throughout 2020, ASICS ASICS Gel Lyte III Orange Blaze Spring 2014 GEL-Lyte III‘s 30th anniversary, but the Japanese confirmation has found time to outfit its other silhouettes in notable ensembles. The latest example arrives in the form of a GEL-Kayano 5 OG dressed up in “Smoke Grey” and laden with yellow and muted blue accents.
True to its 1999-form, the silhouette is constructed with a mix of materials, from lightweight, breathable mesh to premium suede overlays. The latter indulges in a sand-reminiscent hue that features stark summer-appropriate contrast across its profile vector logos. Elsewhere, the lemon and teal-like accents animate the tongue, heel, and part of the white GEL™ and DUOMAX cushioned-sole unit. Black speckling at the medial heel completes the latest task on the retro-runner.
