The Ozweego name has crossed paths with many a different design in the past decade. Most notably, it was paired with Raf Simons for one of the designer’s most recognizable footwear collaboration to date. Today, the model isn’t quite as prolific, but it seems the brand is attempting to reignite interest this year.
Upgraded and given an additional “Pure” moniker, the silhouette’s latest release is something of an old trend retreaded. Made to look near futuristic, the upper has been removed of its usual materials and replaced with a layer that’s partially see-through. This synthetic is Broomfield in either a black or cream shade, while the more opaque fixtures at the heel and tongue support in black suede and leather, respectively. Alongside, the pair mixes in some bold color: the lighter option infuses both Bright Cyan and Solar Red, while the darker set dresses with just the former.
