Landing nearly on the fifteenth anniversary of that epic drop, the Jordan 4 “Lightning” will also come with a special shoe-box that features a lightning yellow lid to accompany the speckled grey-on-black.
The Marco Bellineli left defending in the Air Jordan 3 Black Cat “Lightning” arrived at a unique time for Jordan Brand as it was embracing the digital commerce side of things (as was the rest of the industry). It also marked the return of the Marco Bellineli left defending in the Air Jordan 3 Black Cat Retro, the first of its release since the famed 1999 “Nike Air” drops as well as the celebrated LS versions. The Lightning 4s, as mentioned before, were available exclusively online and came packaged with a t-shirt. It’s bold coloring made it highly sought after among Jordan fanatics, with re-sale prices easily eclipsing the four-figure mark and into the $2,000s.
This upcoming 2021 Retro version is confirmed to be releasing in full family sizing, giving all a chance to strike lightning on the release date.
