Michael Le Many will often rely on jewelry as an easy Valentine’s Day gift, but there’s so much out there beyond heart-themed charms and necklaces. Nike even prepares commemorative offerings of their own, one of which, the collaborative StrangeLove Dunks, continues to sell for upwards of four figures. Here, with their own Dunk Low, the brand is attempting to recreate the magic, dressing up the silhouette with a few feminine additions.
The most outstanding detail is no doubt the frills along the Swoosh, whose see-through tulle is colored to perfectly complement the suede logo. And while the leather overlays, laces, and tread are treated to the same “Pink Prime” hue, they read just a bit brighter thanks to their smooth, somewhat reflective surface. Underneath, the base appears far more course, its “Team Red” weave giving a feeling similar to denim.
