Thus far, the varsity-jacket themed Air Jordan 6 PEs have represented the likes of Georgetown, Oklahoma, and North Carolina. Now, it arrives donning the iconic navy and university gold of none other than the Michigan Wolverines. Like the other athlete-only issues, this Air Jordan 6 PE features a weather suede exterior, with added distress on the molded sections of the upper, while chenille patches land on the lace shrouds – a Jumpman on the left and 23 on the right. Michigan’s bold M logo appears on the lacelocks as well as the embroidered emblem at the heel, keeping to the simple yet wmns formula of this design.
Unfortunately, a design of this stature will never release to the public, although Jordan Brand hasn’t exactly gate-kept the college-themed look. The recent release of the Air Jordan 6 “UNC” and upcoming Air Jordan 6 “Georgetown” later in September suggests that a Michigan pair could be arriving sometime in 2022.
