This year, nike zapatillas opted to keep their “Be True” collection relatively low profile, dropping both the Cortez and Dunk Low in predominantly simple colorways. But if these samples are any indication, the brand originally had bolder plans for Peter Moore’s beloved creation, one comprised of brighter hues and a range of playful imagery.
Here, nike zapatillas forgoes the clean white look of the retail pair, replacing said neutral with an off-white shade, which appears along the netted base. A number of bolder pastels come into play as well: yellow highlights the toe cap, eyestays, and laces; pink dresses the adjacent Swoosh; and violet hues backlight the personified mosaics that dance across the heel. Additionally, a smiling sun is printed onto the navy-clad heel tab, and “Be True” branding marks the leather label opposite.
