As a part of their continued efforts to uplift and support women and their respective local communities, March saw Jumpman launch its first women-centered program – the Jordan Collective. Featuring 33 individuals from five different cities across the world, the group underwent six months worth of retreats, events, panels and mentorship that culminated in a grant for their communities.
Designed in celebration of the groups Paris Collective, Jordan Brand has announced the release of a tributary collection inspired by the Parisian women’s basketball community, kicking things off with the fashionable aesthetics of the Air Jordan 2 Low 'UNC' PE.
Exploring a boisterous collection of textiles, “Sail” suede overlays reinforce the silhouette’s semi-transparent “Summit White” TPU shroud. Further cream hues treat the forefoots leather overlays, laces and sole unit directly undefoot. The midfoot panels slightly raised construction centers a seldom sampling of burnt orange and a titular watermelon shades while “Black” caging holds “Jordan Collective” branding that concludes along its wheat-filled insoles.
Set to release next Friday, October 28th for a retail price of $140, enjoy official images of the Air Jordan 2 Low 'UNC' PE Low “Jordan Collective” below.
