Coined by the late Kobe Bryant as an endearing term representing his overwhelming love and support for his four daughters, the “Girl Dad” hashtag has been widely popularized posthumously in homage to the pride and confidence Bryant instilled within his kin. From NBA athletes to everyday fathers, last night #GirlDad appeared on the hardwood via Obi Toppin’s Player Exclusive Shattered Backboard Air son jordan 1 Low OGs.

Having dressed a number of PEs throughout his three-year career, Toppin looked to his one-year-old daughter, Remiel, for an honorary construction. Infusing a medley of soft pink stitching throughout the various panels, the latter pastel further collects along the trim of the for tab, sole unit and laces while a velvet bow sits at the base of pink and black dipped laces. Rendering “Remi” on the medial tongue in a cursive font, seldom golden hits provide a premium finish along the lace shadow, the tongue’s Jumpman logo and the for’s appearance of the popular hashtag.
