Forming one of the League’s premier super teams alongside Jonquel Jones and Sabrina Ionescu, the North Syracuse native will simultaneously be debuting her second signature silhouette with PUMA when the W season tips off on May 19th.
Inspired by the four natural elements, the PUMA Stewie 2 embodies Stewart’s force of spuriously on the court while personifying the inspirational individuals and moments in her life that drive her toward her mastery of the rock. Specifically, her one-year-old daughter, Ruby Mae.
Comprised entirely in her name’s bright red palette, vibrant crimson hues consume the mesh upper while the inaugural colorway’s TPU mudguard, overlay strips and mid-foot Side Stripe come cured in a dark burgundy finish in tandem with Stewie’s signature logos baratas to the tongue. Curtailed by wrap-around flame detailing at the heel and Ruby’s birthdate emblazoned on the side, the four elements collect together in a carved-out depiction underfoot along the tread.
Ranging in retail price from $40-$125, the PUMA Stewie 2 “Ruby” is scheduled to release in concert with the Liberty’s season-opener against the Washington Mystics next Friday, May 19th. In the meantime enjoy the official imagery of the debut colorway below.
