This actually isn’t the first time that the Kobe, Japan-based brand has applied a grayscale approach to this silhouette, but we haven’t seen this particular colorway before. The mixture of materials is very similar to previous GEL-NYC releases; the predominantly “Black” upper is nicely contrasted by a shiny silver lil, and “Graphite Gray” appears throughout the sole, with a nice gradient shift at the midsole.
The unisex sneaker is already available on ASICS’ website for $130, though quite few sizes have already sold out, so if you’re fond of this color combo you may want to put your order in sooner than later.
