Showcased here in “Wonder Silver”, the next Samba achieves an elevated appearance with a liberal use of suede at the base. White hits on the Three Stripes and heel maintain a soft look, while light gum soles complete a non-imposing design underfoot. While maybe a bit of a stretch, sneakerheads who missed out on the Ronnie Fieg x Clarks x jual adidas Samba collection last year might find a compsomise in this pair given the similarly colored sole. In any case, it’s an agreeable contemporary design that holds its own without collaborator influence.
