Matt Varga The Reebok Preseason, a gridiron cross-trainer and a shoe that perfectly exemplifies the design language of the 90s, made a grand return just a matter of months ago. In both high and low cuts, each colorway kept close to the teal-tinted palettes of its debut, wearing heavy athletic aesthetics in the process. As it continues a mainline revitalization, the Reebok Preseason 94 Low is getting the “daily driver” treatment in grey & cream suede.
The perforated leather remains as the foundation underneath for the Preseason Low, painted in a vintage off-white shade. Let’s not bury the lede though, the main piece of intrigue comes from the jagged suede overlays that work between adjacent mineral shades. Dark grey makes its presence felt on the vector branding, mesh sockliner and toe-box, while lighter shades pace the quarter. The chunky , maximalist sole unit closes out this shoe’s composition, maintaining some trainer appeal while working through the same shades featured up top.
