Taken with suede overlays and a mesh base, the New Balance logos and midsole come painted in “Carbon” on the otherwise all-black shoe. The model itself is a bit of an anomaly in the chunky “dad shoe” genre, skewing towards a more generalized aesthetic with smooth contours across the upper.
