The ambitious Foamposite clog was a straight-to-outlet special when it debuted in the early 2000s and didn’t fare much better when Nike brought it back with the name “Solo Slide” in the 2010s, but given consumer’s newfound appreciation for comfortable, uniquely crafted slip-ons, the Clogposite has never seen such fertile ground for growth.
Nike announced the return of the Clogposite during a SNKRS Showcase late last year, and a handful of colorways have since released throughout Summer 2024. The Beaverton brand brings black and “Sanddrift” to this latest look, the latter color accounting for the outer Foamposite shell. The sole, including a carbon fiber midfoot plate, remains largely untouched.
