The Air Jordan 10 might not have the championship pedigree of Mike’s other shoes from the 1990s, but there’s still plenty of lore worth celebrating. Earlier this year, it was reported that the Jordan 10 “Steel” will return in 2025 with its infamous leather toe cap, a feature Jordan Brand dropped on subsequent original AJ10 releases. Now harkening back to that odd moment in time once more, we’re learning that the “Shadow” colorway will also return with the very same tooling.
While the toe-capped “Steel” colorway actually released, the upcoming “Shadow” AJ10 is said to be inspired by a salesman sample. Notably, Jordan Brand follows the same line of thinking on the upcoming Jordan 1 “Black Toe Reimagined” releasing Holiday 2024, which features “Air Jordan” lettering as seen on an early sample pair. Aside from the Orange toe cap, the upcoming Jordan 10 “Shadow” will reportedly feature the same shape and colors of the original 1994 release. For the uninformed; the Jordan 10 was the first Air Jordan shoe designed in Michael Jordan’s absence, crafted by Tinker Hatfield while Mike was off conditional baseball. Jordan wasn’t a fan of the toe cap, so shortly after the model hit shelves by way of the “Steel” colorway in 1994, the model was pulled and altered before continuing to roll out in other original colorways.
Currently, the new jordan brand t shirts to match the air jordan 1 x nike air ship new beginnings pack “Shadow” is expected to release towards the back half of 2025.
