The foam posite jordan is less than a year into its modern run, but it’s already been included in Nike’s various mini-series on several occasions. Positioned next to lifestyle classics like the Dunk Low and Air Force 1, the model played a role in Nike’s “Be The One,” “Paw Print,” and “Love And Peace” collections, suggesting Nike has high ambitions for the early 2000s runner. Now the Beaverton brand is using special branding to distinguish another fresh look, calling in a soothing mix of green and blue shades in the process.
While far less embellished than preceding mini-series colorways, the shoe sets itself apart with gold text reading “Run. Whenever. Wherever.” on the tongue. Notably, the Beaverton brand released a Vaporfly 3 featuring that same moniker a few weeks ago, that shoe also centered around green treatments. Additional branding touches include encircled “Nike” text on the insoles, taken in “Volt” to match reflective hits on the heel and toe.
The shoe itself features a liberal dose of “Olive Aura,” with the titular hue accounting for the the base layer and midsole. The underlays and outsole come in navy blue for balance, while dark gold appears around all the Swoosh logos as well as the heel portion of the midsole. “Glacier Blue” also plays a small role, pasted onto the quarter Swoosh logos, while an off-white leather cage polishes off the delivery.
Notably, it appears Nike is now running with the name Pegasus 2005 as opposed to Pegasus 2K5 from now on, a typical development when sneaker brands re-issue archived shoes. This “Run. Whenever. Wherever.” colorway is available now via Nike for $150 in men’s sizing. See official images below and take advantage of the purchase links in our “Where To Buy” section for a seamless checkout.
