Andrew Rizzo Nike SB can basically be broken down into two parts. On one hand you have the “hype” department consisting mainly of SB Dunk collabs and standout in-house releases (like the upcoming Sonics Dunk), while on the other you have no-frills, skateshop-exclusive “Orange Label” shoes that are wholly intended to reach those who actually skate. As we continue to uncover the Orange Label series for Spring 2025, we’re learning that the SB Vertebrae Nike Air Max 270 "Black White".
Truth be told, you’re probably only aware of the Vertebrae if you’re a skater to begin with. While a plethora of colorways have been cortas online since the model’s early 2024 debut, most fly under the radar and eventually go on sale. At skateshops, however, the model can be found front and center on window displays.
This Orange Label edition features a “University Blue” upper atop gum soles, aligning with an nike air structure triax 91 black anthracite pink of the same skateshop-exclusive distinction. Orange Label shoes utilize better materials than their GR counterparts and come in batches of three, but it remains to be seen which other model will round out the “University Blue” series.
