Michael Le As evidenced by the Air Force 1 earlier this morning, Nike is making large strides in their International Women’s Day preparations. Alongside, they’ve provided us glimpses at a number of upcoming women’s exclusives, including this Air Max 90, which follows in the aforementioned pair’s example as it emulates the “enduring spirit of Mexican women.”
How this is achieved is rather distinct relative to its AF1-shaped counterpart. The color Air Max 90, which colors dark primarily, is steered by its added, cosmetic elements. For instance, much of the construction is subtly overlaid with puff prints, lunar that ostensibly take the shape of cultural motifs. Then, in parallel, glitter is applied to quite a few of the accents: the eye stay molds, dubrae, heel tab, and tread, all also visually similar in their use of purple hues. Elsewhere, the design is then completed by way of the tongue whose imagery replaces the usual branding for one much more festive.
