The adidas Forum Gets Rebuilt With Transparent TPU Upper Panels

adidas forum low transparent FY8014

Following the Forum‘s re-release, adidas tried their best to stay faithful to the originals. But that is soon to change as the brand steps back into their comfort zone with additional TPU panels, exposed foam, and further deconstruction.

There are parts, however, that are near true-to-form. The toe, for instance, retains its usual suede and leather construction, with the paneling formatted identical to previous iterations. The tongue seems to follow suit for the most part as well, while the eyestays’ foam spills out in full yellow. The latter is complemented somewhat as well: the tongue, lining, and even the outsole are pigmented with yellow, though their shades are just a bit more pastel by comparison. See-through, TPU layers then round off the upper, hiding quite a bit of the Forum’s usual stripes, Trefoils, and the like.
