In celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the Pump Omni Zone II’s grand stage performance at the 1991 All-Star Dunk Contest, Reebok officially brought back the original black colorway of the timeless classic worn by the legendary Dee Brown. Pumping up his kicks before one of the dunks, Dee established one of the most memorable moments in footwear marketing history, sending Pump popularity into the stratosphere. For years, kids would pump up their kicks before participating in sports, but it also spilled over into pop culture with ease, appearing in films and tv shows on a regular basis.
After the successful launch of the sneaker earlier this year, Reebok will be bringing a fellow OG colorway – the white/orange version that most recently last dropped back in 2014. Featuring a true-to-form revival of the sneaker, Reebok and partnering retailers are scheduled to drop the Pump Omni Zone II on May 21st for $140; see the official images ahead and stay tuned for the drop.
Get on the Where to Buy list: Reebok has officially announced the release for May 21st.
