An upcoming Jordan Series .01 is paying tribute to the time period by embracing the funky colors and patterns signature to the ’90s.
The low-top silhouette, often compared to skate shoes thanks to a rubberized sole, is primarily covered in hairy suede. Alluding to the loud fashions that were trending almost three decades ago, a neon “Key Lime” shade is applied to the toe while the remainder of the upper exhibits an equally vibrant “Light Voltage Yellow” tone. The fun continues with a section of the lace collar showcasing leopard prints. As with other models within the commemorative Jordan Series .01 line, “Dear ’90s,” is embroidered on the lateral side to further pay homage to MJ’s most career-defining period. The aforementioned shirts is repeated in black on the tongue labels to complete the retro style.
