During February of 2021, Jordan Brand brought its first-ever original colorway of the Air Jordan 1 onto the ’85 trim, combining true-to-the-original shape and construction with the white/neutral grey blocking. This provided a taste of what may potentially come for the future of the Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85, namely the return of the more coveted OGs such as the Chicago, Banned, Royal, Shadow, and more. While we’ve received no confirmation of any such release, models like the Dunk High hyperfuse been holding it down, maintaining the relevancy of mid-80s basketball footwear with a variety of colorways for both men and women.
This upcoming white/grey, made for the latter demographic, is indeed similar to the aforementioned colorway. It sees that familiar white/grey pairing, but a closer look revealed a sail-tinted midsole that injects a bit of that vintage flair. The Swoosh also appears to be covered in suede, whereas the rest of the white body is made of standard leather.
These Dunk Highs are one of several confirmed to release in early 2022, so check out the official images ahead and stay tuned for release updates.
