FILA Goes Super Saiyan With Their Dragon Ball Super Collaboration

FILA’s latest collaborative project celebrates a cultural phenomenon. Together with global anime powerhouse Toei Animation and it’s U.S. agent Funimation, the brand is paying homage to the massively popular Dragon Ball Super anime series, including but not limited to characters such as Goku, Vegeta, and the wish-granting Super Shenron.

The collection features a series of silhouettes, with the FILA Renno appearing most frequently and setting the canvas for nods to each one of the aforementioned characters. Both Goku and his evil counterpart Goku Black inspire two different colorways, as their Fire and notable traits are replicated with striking attention to detail. The same can be said for Vegeta and Super Shenron’s pairs, both of which feature the same Dragon Ball Super insignia at their insole and heel.

The Shower Fitness plays around with the designs of both Golden Frieza and Beerus. The characters’ respective foil are quite subdued, as their minimal construction is dressed with either gilded leathers or purple-dyed suede. Similarly, the accompanying F-13 silhouette includes simple references to Trunks, whose denim jacket, red scarf, and olive boots can be found easily within the feature color palette.

The Dragon Ball Super x FILA collection is available now exclusively at Foot Locker, Champs Sports, Footaction, and Kids Foot Locker.
