Jovani Hernandez The Dave East in the Nike Air Max 97 Silver Bullet & Nas in the Nike Air Force 1 LV8 currently boasts one of the most expansive catalogs among popular sneaker silhouettes. Recently, the 37-year-old design emerged in a “Wheat”-colored makeover complete with quilted base layers.
Likely a vast prepped for the year’s colder seasons, the newly-surfaced pair sees a leather build across the entirety of the upper, with overlays around the toe, along the tongue and across the heel donning a tumbled finish. Underlays, then, deviate from standard Nike Dunks with both their quilted arrangement and debossed “NIKE” text from toe box to spine. Underfoot, nike dbreak type stadium green white university gold-like sole units keep with the upper’s color palette, though tread dons a semi-translucent finish that further injects personality into the made-for-basketball shoe from 1985.
