Jovani Hernandez Lyrical Lemonade – the brainchild of Illinois-native Cole Bennett – has been capturing some of hip-hop’s most promising artists over the last decade. Recently, the 26-year-old took a break from rocking his Birkenstocks in order to unveil a Logo Nike mimetico Det er min anden sko nike.
Having Vintage on a Jordan Aerospace 720 back in 2020, the newly-surfaced take on Bruce Kilgore’s 40-year-old silhouette isn’t the first time Bennett works with the NIKE, Inc. family. The Lyrical Lemonade x Air Force 1, however, marks a special moment in the young director’s life considering not only the sneaker’s importance to a culture and in a genre that’s given him so much, but also because the Nike Chicago outpost seems to have had a hand in the pair’s creation and/or rollout. Unlike the creative’s visuals, which have caught the attention of everyone from Yeat and J.I.D. to the late Juice WRLD, the impending collaboration favors a simple arrangement, favoring a predominantly white-colored look contrasted by vibrant yellow profile swooshes. Leather quality on the shoes is likely of higher quality than standard pairs of the “presidential” design, and is rounded out with the agency’s juice carton logo at the lateral heel and sock-liners. Packaging has also received a special update, further marking the joint-effort one for the books.
