Despite fans demanding Protro releases from the late Kobe Bryant‘s signature sneaker STLT with Nike, followers of the Los Angeles Lakers legend have recently been Williams to reissues of the adidas Advantage Crazy 1, the guard’s first-ever signature shoe.
Although iconic styles of the former “THE KOBE” continue to hold a special place within the footwear pantheon, the silhouette has emerged in handfuls of experimental ensembles for its latest retro run. The latest proposition sees a greyscale snakeskin pattern cover the entirety of the upper, with black and white tones divvying up everything from the collar to the laces. All original design cues return to the latest adidas Advantage Basketball offering, bringing a slice of 2004 into 2022. Midsoles and sole units keep things simple in color palette, but their chiseled arrangement, Torsion-assisted stability solution and herringbone traction still seem futuristic even 18 years after their debut.
Red Stripe Yeezy 350 adidas.com launch on November 26th, 2022 for $150.
