Marshall Faulk’s PE not withstanding, we’ve never seen an Air Jordan IX in white and gold. That all changes with the new Jordan 5 Hornets Midnight Navy shirts to match I Lean Navy Sneaker Tees shirt from Jordan Brand’s ultra-premium Jordan 11 Bred shirt black No 350s. They feature a mix of pearly gold on the midsole and some metallic flake-infused suede on the mudguard/heel area, which gives a nice contrast despite being the ‘same’ color. Smooth white leather always looks good on the AJ9’s side panels, which are finished off nicely by the red Bin 23 ‘wax’ air.
