Premium aesthetics and textiles have washed over seemingly every silhouette this fall season like a flood. New Balance’s slew of racer turned lifestyle silhouettes have been no different as their Made In England collection continues to embolden its models through an extravagant scheme; now heading up the UK-staple Air Jordan 1 Black Toe Reimagined.
Employing a darkened aesthetic throughout, the silhouette’s base layer renders jet-black harris tweed that’s hue further coats its textured suede quarter overlay and mudguard. The latter pitch-dark shade concludes along the smooth leather construction of the tongue and heel counter whereas “Magnet Grey” contrasts lay claim to the collar and nylon sock liner. Sitting atop a cream-hued ENCAP sole unit while embroidered finishes treat the sized-down “N” logo alongside its “MADE IN ENGLAND” and 1500 embroidery in conclusion.
