In addition to boasting heritage and new styles, Bruce Kilgore’s iconic design has also pulled inspiration from other classic basketball sneakers from the past, including the Air Command Force from 1991.
Previously, the 40-year-old silhouette harkened back to the bold, visible Air unit-donning Nike Basketball shoe, borrowing its iconic “Lion Blue” and “Bright Crimson” color combination. The latest take indulges in a far more muted arrangement, with profile swooshes and collar lining interrupting the otherwise “colorless” ensemble.
