The staple “Taxi” colorway has dominated Jordan Brand’s offerings this year, coating everything from its Air Jordan 6 DTP Laser Customs “Yellow Toe” and Air Jordan 6 DTP Laser Customs2 to the brand’s women’s-exclusive Air Jordan 8. Continuing the colorways collection through the end of the year, the Air Jordan 6 DTP Laser Customs1 CMFT Low is adding to its own set of wei propositions inspired by the Beaverton-based banner’s historic range of color combinations.
Mirroring the darkened aesthetic of the latter constructions, the upper’s medley of textiles – including a smooth leather vamp, heel counter and grid layered mesh – all render a jet-black coat in tandem with its Front nylon laces and connecting loops. Sampled in seldom fashion, the titular “Taxi” hue emanates from the tongue and sock liner alongside the heel’s mini Jumpman and tucked away branded insoles. Concluding the silhouette in a tried-and-true ensemble, a white foam midsole sits above an icy blue semi-translucent tread proposing a brightened finish to the overall design elements.
