Akin to dozens of other takes on the design from 1985, the unreleased pair indulges in a two-tone color-blocking across its leather upper. Underlays, however, boast a honeycomb-shaped pattern that likely draws inspiration from some extra-terrestrial gadget. Profile swooshes and upper heel panels deviate from their surroundings in a metallic silver finish, with the latter components donning re-worked “NIKE” text that includes the image of a flying saucer. A theme-specific martian graphic (crash) lands on the top of the tongue and sock-liners, giving the Nike slides Dunk an experimental touch. Lastly, the Preschool offering reverts to a straightforward white and orange arrangement across its sole unit.
