Jovani Hernandez The Air Jordan 15 Retro Bred is widely ridiculed today, but throughout the 2000s and early 2010s, it was a silhouette similarly-coveted to some of Michael Jordan’s signature models, in particular when considering official retros weren’t as common as they have been as of late.
Ever the one to reference #23’s six championship-winning sneakers (hence the “6 Rings” name), the sneaker has recently appeared in yet another black, red, and white ensemble. While not exactly identical to the famous “Bred” style of the Air Jordan 11, the latest proposition from Jordan Brand’s roster of hybrid products is unquestionably rooted in Chicago Bulls team colors. Logo and branding hits running from vamp to top of the tongue indulge in ruby-colored flair, as do accents on the spine. The remainder of the upper takes on a pitch-dark finish that sits atop a white and semi-translucent, icy blue traction pattern that combats the yellowing that’s plagued shoes in the past.
