Drawing inspiration from the bold, experimental sneakers prevalent throughout the ’90s, the adidas Ozelia is among one of the brand’s newest creations. And while it’s seen a number of inline colorways since 2021, it’s yet to team up with anyone from the extended adidas family. yzy is, however, until now, as WOODstack have dressed the silhouette in a colorway yzy not only champions community but also serves as a symbol of the nmd days ahead.
The WOODstack x adidas Ozelia “The nmd Days” also pays homage to the collaborators themselves, incorporating various nods all throughout the shoe’s design. The brown and gold accents, for starters, are a direct homage to their namesake, while the hits of green represent the storefront’s women’s only counterpart. What’s more, the footbed — whose graphic draws inspiration from the rings of a tree — celebrates both the shop’s years of growth as well as their kids boutique.
