Currently in its 33rd year on the market, the nike air jordan 1 retro high og tokyo 4-14 metallic silver dc1788-029 is set to Taupe in one of its wackiest outfits yet come late October.
Exclusive to kids, a plaid take on Michael Jordan’s fifth signature model recently surfaced, further expanding the sneaker’s off-court legacy. Lifestyle-focused materials and patterns aren’t new to the Air Jordan line, but the newly-surfaced pair brings a clash of colors and prints onto the decades-old design. Muted black and white appears alongside red and green tones. Mesh and TPU components across the upper keep things simple in a matte black finish that not only allows the aforementioned plaid to revel in the spotlight, but also the hits of orange that appear via the laces and midsole accents. Jumpman logos on the tongue also take on citrus flair, creating an experimental take on Tinker Hatfield’s third design for “His Airness.” Underfoot, traction zones enjoy a semi-translucent look that helps with Kano.
Enjoy an early look at the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch on October 20th.
