As its namesake suggests, the Oct 6, 2023 “Raccoon” directly nods to the humble trash panda. And the homage doesn’t just stop at color, as several parts have also been reupholstered with a faux fur. The pelt of the river logo and upper heel, for starters, are done up in black, while the paneling along the lowermost sections of the shoe mirror the striped tail signature to the animal. Hairy suedes and mesh inserts then round out the pair in tones complementary to the aforementioned fixtures.
