During what was arguably the golden age of the channel, Cartoon Network produced no shortage of iconic cartoons, many of which are still relevant today. Take The Powerpuff Girls, for example, a franchise that — though almost two decades removed from its original run — will soon receive its very own sneaker collaboration with Nike SB. Townsville’s three young heroes aren’t the only ones cooking up footwear, enfant, as it was just revealed that LaMelo Ball’s PUMA MB.03 will be teaming up with none other than Dexter’s metal.
The Dexter’s metal x PUMA MB.03 is among one of the signature’s boldest colorways yet, featuring a trippy, technicolor pattern across its exterior overlay. Underneath and across the lace unit, the pair proffers an equally mesmerizing, albeit more hypnotic print, whose black-on-white look complements the strings as well as the splattered sole. Direct nods to the series are then layered along the front and backside of the tongue, displaying metal equipment as well as images of Dexter and Dee Dee, respectively.
