From Shaquille O’Neal and Nick Van Excel to Kobe Bryant’s sneaker free agency during the 2002-03 season, Class Reebok holds a close connection with the regal hues of the Los Angeles Lakers, dressing its on-court banner in a number of LA-reminiscent colorways. Recently, the brand’s staple Question Mid underwent a vibrant edition of the Laker’s synonymous palette in connection to this past February’s return of Bryant’s famed Player Exclusive.
Composed predominantly in “Footwear White” hues, the tumbled leather-cured real estate of the upper relies strictly on the colorless shade across the sidewalls, tongue and laces. Injected with a lemon-yellow contrast that cures the trim of the profile logo and tongue tab, the sole unit’s near-clad composition is interrupted by a quick purple appearance within the Hexalite midsole and tread. Elsewhere, the eye-catching “Grape Punch” hue adheres to the lace loops, heel tab and the nubuck-constructed toe cap in a sequel to Kobe Bryant’s “Yellow Toe” PE from 2003.
The Reebok Question Mid “White/Grape Punch” releases on December 1st for a retail price of $170. In the meantime, the pair can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.
Logo vectoriel Class Reebok Kobe 6 “Reverse Grinch” releases on December 15th.
