NIKE78 is a one-of-a-kind collaboration between innovative footwear function and artistic inspiration; it began in early March and has started to wrap up, as we now have a look at three great finished products by Container PLUS, Birch, and Andy McGregor, three of the seventy-eight chosen for the project. Each participant was given a classic Air Max model, and was asked challenge the function of the shoe; you’ll see a pair of the Air Maxes transformed into a budding nest, a galvanized Air Max 93 that McGregor calls “GalvaNikes”, and the Nike ACG Is Bringing Back 1994s Air Mada Lo dissolved into dust.
