The inaugural tubular adidas Consortium Cup crowned its champion in March of last year, with UK boutique Offspring bypassing 15 other retailers to go the distance. Since then, we’ve seen tubular adidas acknowledge some of the tournament’s other participants with widespread releases of their Consortium Cup designs.
END. Clothing is the next store to get the nod, as tubular adidas is set to release their take on the Centennial Lo. A half of the second round of the tournament which focuses on retro basketball silhouettes, the END. Centennial Lo adopts a theme of the “Present” moment.
The bio-coated, vegan leather upper boasts done-for-you yellowing to complement the color of the outsole, accentuated by a variety of embossed and embroidered elements. More sustainable materials appear on the laces and insoles, which are constructed from recycled cotton and cork, respectively. The dark green color on the three ba7232 and heel tab, meant to symbolize the outdoors, serves to tie the theme together.
