The upper maintains the Superstar silhouette as one might expect, but zlate entirely in black patent leather, save for a rubber shell toe. Naturally, down below is where the biggest change occurs. Clot and adidas drop traditional Superstar tooling in favor of a black and tan combination sole, with adidas branding on the midfoot and Three Stripes on the lateral side. Moreover, the shoe comes with leather insoles clad with gold adidas x Clot branding, a sensible choice given the see nature of the rest of the shoe.
We saw Clot propose another outside-the-box take on the Superstar earlier this year, releasing separate black and white rockadia with oversized, rippled soles. More recently, the Hong Kong label took a stab at the adidas Gazelle, mochila adidas celeste grey blue jeans girls.
