However, long-time fans of the imprint were likely hooked in the first place by their older models and NB’s penchant for premium materials. Few silhouettes in their catalog champion both categories the way the New Balance 1500 does, reappearing in a natural-esque colorway for Fall.
This isn’t the most complicated design, but again, the 1500 didn’t reach cult classic for intricate design. Instead, this arrangement doubles down on its biggest selling points; pigskin suede on the mudguard, heel cup and quarter panel are matched by underlying mesh throughout. The dominant grassy notes are broken up by select tri-tone details; a grey sockliner, navy branding and an off-white stripe at the back heel make the strongest impact.
This New Balance 1500 Made In England will retail for $240 upon arrival.
