Here in 2010, a new women’s colorway of the nike mercurial glide turquoise shoes has a stark resemblance to that ’04 releases (which fetches well over $200 these days). From the black midfoot portion to the yellow Nike branding on the tongue, this new release is a great attempt at a “retro”, although the mesh area is now white and the bottom sole is gum instead of black. The upper is solar red – quite similar to Infrared – instead of the Jersey Red on the original. The Urawa nike lunarfresh sneaker boot for women black shoes is one of the rare 87s to have released but this new WMNS colorway is close enough (just slap on some yellow laces), so watch for these to drop at Nike Sportswear accounts soon or pick one up overseas from Dunk.
