adidas superstar snake pack shoes for women 2017 adidas Sambae and Ronnie Fieg’s 8th Street adidas x Clarks line; there’s considerable demand for Three Stripes classics with crepe soles. Tapping into that aesthetic once more, adidas just released three colorways of a new offshoot model called the Rivalry Crepe, elevating the 1980s hoops shoe with modern streetwear sensibility.
The new sole stands out as the shoe’s defining feature, of course, but there’s are also plenty of intrigue to note up top. Lending a more sophisticated feel than the Rivalry Low proper, the toe box is crafted with no-show stitching for a sleeker, more formal aesthetic. The eyelet perforations are also dropped, replaced by webbing on the inner portion of the sidewalls. Rounding out a series of big changes, adidas also minimizes the interior padding in favor of a more form-fitting appearance near the ankle.

The inaugural Rivalry Crepe release consists of “Legend Ivy,” “Mesa,” and “Preloved Fig,” colorways, all of which feature suede uppers and white leather stripes/backtabs. Given the shoe’s clear evocation of models like the Clarks Wallabee among other suede and crepe shoes, this looks to be the standard material composition for the new Rivalry offshoot moving forward.
All three colorways are available now via adidas for $150 a pop; take advantage of our “Where To Buy” sections for purchase links if you’re interested in securing a pair.
