Every so often a great colorway manages to get stuck in the filters and never makes it to production. We’ve witnessed a number of scrapped samples that would’ve been sure-fire hits had a release occurred, and these Nike Nike Vapor Street Flyknit samples from the Spring of 2009 just adds to the case against the scrapping of great samples. This white, black, and grey colorway features a bottom sole of purple and green with purple and black insoles. The black and white stripes on the center panel isn’t as animalistic as a zebra-print nor is it as uniform as candy-striping – we’ll call it something inbetween. The toebox also features a tighter mesh-like material that would be a welcome addition to current Nike Vapor Street Flyknit releases.
