Meant to symbolize a parallel between Wu Caishen and James Harden’s tenacity and desire for victory, the shoe comes decked out with embellishments inspired by traditional, regal garb. The upper features a multicolor mix of blue, green, red, and gold treatments, with auspicious clouds appearing on the sidewalls. A mask of Wu Caishen, traditionally used in Chinese opera, is debossed onto a patent leather toe box, while Chinese characters reading “turn misfortune into good fortune, and wealth rolls in” appears on the tongue.
