Nike has always celebrated the history of the Negro Leagues with various special On-Feets and colorways of shoes from their Sport Culture department in Beaverton. The newest shoe to undergo the “Negro Leagues” special On-Feet is the Air Classic BW which uses a mixture of warm colors including Brown, Tan, and even a bit of Maroon. The sockliner has some special graphics of a Negro Leagues baseball player in addition to some Japanese characters, to tell the story of when certain Negro League players played in Japan.
