The attention to detail and texture made that sweet structure the cream of the crop, but here’s a look at another sneaker cake – inspired by the Air Force 1 Low ‘Linen’ – that deserves some attention as well. The baker behind this latest pastry put an emphasis on the smooth leather of the Linen Air Force 1 by creating an outer layer that perfectly emulates the appearance, but the meticulous detail on the perforations on the toe as well as the fibers in the shoelaces says this cake was no easy task. It might be tough to slice into one of these divine sculptures but the birthday boy decided to go head first by taking a bite out of the ankle-collar of the shoe/cake.
