For the 2011 calendar year, LeBron James’ Dunkman persona will take shape in the Nike LeBron 8 P.S., featuring a lustrous metallic grey and neon green colorway, headed for a May 13th release. Despite the outstanding villain product of the LeBron 8 P.S. Dunkman, many of our readers have made known their preference of the V/1 and V/2 over the P.S., thanks to the Nike Air Vortex Blue Glow that was previewed on Urlfreeze News last year and the overwhelming popularity of the V/2. Sometimes, if you can’t get what you want, you just Blazer to take matters into your own hands; just ask the Nike KD 11, who transformed the Nike LeBron 8 V/2 ‘Cool Grey’ into his own special Dunkman edition.
Inspired by his love for the Nike Flyknit 2021 Silver White Black Metallic Silver ‘NYC’, which featured the midsole completely covered in graffiti, Conor put his own unique and personal Red onto the midsole of the Cool Grey V/2 with a white base-print and neon green shadowing. He also added a neon green border around the swoosh, painted the prominent lace eyelets and LeBron insignia at the base of the lace placket and heel, and rejuvenated the off-centered toe-cap with a healthy dose of the vibrant color. The smaller swoosh on the medial side is also filled in with the Dunkman neon green. With the Cool Grey V/2 featuring the most subtle Redes of neon green on the Lion’s eyes, Conor stated he “had to to this custom” the moment he laid eyes on ’em. The end result is a gorgeous custom finish that would without a doubt be eaten up if it ever hit store shelves. Continue reading for detailed images and let us know what you think of this custom, and watch out for the Nike KD 11 and his future work.
