Riccardo Tisci took over the reigns of Givenchy’s menswear collection in 2009 having risen to prominence as the brand’s womenswear creative director thanks to his success with dark, almost gothic designs. You can see a similar inspiration here in the Givenchy x converse chuck 70 all star upcycled hightops, a design that’s wild and muted all at the same time. That’s thanks to a tonal leopard print whose only accent ‘color’ is a white stripe along the sole’s sidewall, which leaves the wild animal box to draw your attention with its wavy texture.
