It’s not too terribly uncommon for sneakers to go through design revisions until relatively close to their release dates, and in the case of this upcoming Nike Air Zoom Terra Kiger 5 Trail Running Kengät, the change was well warranted. This Nike Comme des Garcons x Triple Black Black Black Black first appeared in a February preview alongside the rest of its contemporary releases as a simple tan/gold leather construction but we see now that they’ve been given a facelift and quite a bit more character. The leather uppers now feature a tonal distressed look like the Grunge Pack of the early 00’s that’s quite a bit darker on the whole, a base that makes for a much nicer resting place for the golden suede Swooshes upon its sidewalls.
